Oriva (a product of Smaks Enterprise) is committed to protecting your family's personal information in line with South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

What we collect

Account details (name, email), learner academic information (subjects and marks you enter), and the applications you choose to track. We collect this only to run your application command center.

We also count visits to this site and to sign-up, so we can see which pages help families. Your browser keeps a random number for this, and we record it with the page you viewed, the site that sent you and any campaign tag in the link. We do not record your name, email or IP address for this, and it is not used to advertise to you.

How we use it

To match courses, track deadlines, send reminders and digests, and process payments. We never sell your data. Your family's data is private to your account and protected with row-level access control.

Your rights

You can access, correct, export or delete your data at any time from your account, or by emailing privacy@oriva.tech.

A note on accuracy

We verify and date-stamp application deadlines, but universities can change dates. Always confirm on each university's official portal. Oriva organises and tracks — your family submits each application on the relevant portal.
